Following Jesus' example as His ministry also included the children, we have developed a children's ministry at Calvary Baptist Church. Children today are at risk from outside
influences that pull them away from God's love and His ways. Our ministries teach children about God's love for them, that He has a plan for their lives, and that they are special.
KINGS ClubTM
KINGS ClubTM is a special weekly club for boys and girls ages 4 through 12. The club program includes Bible lessons for life, true-life missionary stories, review games, contests, prizes, Bible memory work, activity sheets, snacks, and more. There is NO COST to attend KINGS ClubTM .
Well KINGS is actually an acronym that stands for Kids In Need of God's Salvation.
KINGS ClubTM is for every boy and girl age 4-12, whether they are part of this church family or not. It is a great place to bring friends and make friends! Club leaders are John and Gayle Stahlman.
KINGS ClubTM meets every Wednesday evening, 7-8:30 PM, in the church foyer. Club runs throughout the school year, beginning in September and running through June.
Our Ministries
The children have many things to do at the church. Sunday mornings the children can attend a Sunday School class with children in their same age group. During the
morning worship, there is a children's service for those aged 5 through 12. On Wednesday evenings, the children can attend the KINGS Club program.
In addition, we have a children's choir which participates during the morning worship service and in special choral presentations. The children's choir also ministers at nursing
homes and to our shut-ins.
