Young Adults
In 2004, the pastors of Calvary Baptist realized that we were missing a very important ministry. The young men and women who
had grown beyond the youth group had no ministry of their own. Because this is such a vital time in a person's life with decisions such
as college, career, marriage, and more, we decided that it was essential that we begin a ministry that would focus on their needs and
help to give them direction and guidance from a biblical perspective during this critical time in their lives.
Now flee from youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.

Doing
The group is also always looking for things to do, whether it's service related like performing the Worship Service at the City Mission,
or just fun, like having a camp fire or going to a concert.
Just recently the whole group drove to Columbus, OH to see Nicole Nordeman and Casting Crowns in concert. It was a great show and a wonderful
time of worshipping God. We had a great time on the drive over and back and enjoyed dinner together at Applebees.

Who?
The young adult group focuses on the 18-30 age range. If you've graduated from high school but you're not quite ready for
all of the "old people" stuff, maybe this is the group for you.
Getting Together
The group gets together on Sunday evenings at 5:30. They meet for Bible study and a time to enjoy each other's company. Currently, the group is studying the book of Romans.
Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity, show yourself an example
of those who believe.
