Youth
Our youth are an important focus of the ministry of the church. As children grow into teens, they face many complex issues with friends, family, school,
dating, peer pressure. Many people vie for the attention of our youth. The focus of the ministry is to give the teens a safe place to discuss issues they
face, learn how to handle the many pressures of their lives, and give them a fun place to meet and develop friendships.
Our Mission
To bring teens to a saving knowledge of Christ.
To encourage them to grow as they maintain their walk with the Lord and develop deeper relationships with one another.
To equip them to effectively share their faith with others.
Doing
The youth group gets together often. Whether it's playing games, shooting pool, on a retreat, or participating in a 24 hour famine to draw attention to world hunger. Activities give the youth the place and time to have fun, strengthen friendships, meet new friends, and grow in their relationship with God. The guys will be having a retreat this fall. We'll also be participating in the "Adopt A Highway" program.

Our Study
We are beginning a new study this fall called HABITS:
If students are going to continue to grow spiritually beyond your youth group, they must
develop some spiritual disciplines that aren’t dependant on programs or other people. The HABITS tools
were created to help students develop spiritual disciplines necessary to keep growing on their own.
This type of discipleship is designed to be independent of a student's attendance at another youth
ministry program.
I will come and proclaim your mighty acts, O Sovereign LORD; I will proclaim your righteousness, yours alone.
Since my youth, O God, you have taught me, and to this day I declare your marvelous deeds.
Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, O God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your might to all who are to come.
- Psalms 71:16-18
