O U R P U R P O S E
We believe God has set us here as "The Lighthouse On The Hill," being called to:
Evangelism: We are to be "the light of the world" (Matthew 5:14), shining out the truth into a dark, sinful world We preach Christ: the sinless Son who died in our place, was buried, and rose again, to offer every one who trusts in him abundant and eternal life.
Exaltation: Our ultimate purpose is to glorify God through our actions and our Worship. That means our light points to Him, not us. Our goal is to make times together in singing, studying, and sharing when we offer the sacrifice of praise to God (Hebrews 13:15).
Edification: We want our lighthouse, our church, and the people in it, to be built in the firm foundation of the Rock, Jesus Christ (Eph 2:19-22). This means we must build each other up, each using our own gifts so that we can together fulfill God's purpose for our church.
Encouragement: Being a place of shelter for the spiritually poor and needy, we want to be a haven of safety for every person willing to come in from the storms of life. We want to both hurt with those who are hurting and rejoice with those who are rejoicing (I Corinthians 12).

O U R S T A T E M E N T O F F A I T H
1. We believe that the Bible is God's Word, that it is verbally inspired by God and inerrant in the original writings and that it is the supreme infallible authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
2. We believe in God the Father, perfect in holiness, infinite in wisdom, measureless in power. We rejoice that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men, that He hears and answers prayer, and He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ (Genesis 18:14; Deuteronomy 4:31; Joshua 24:19, Job 37:16, Psalm 103:8; Isaiah 6:3; Ezekiel 33:11; Matthew 19:26; Romans 5:8; Romans 10:12; 1 Timothy 2:4).
3. We believe in Jesus Christ, the eternal and only begotten Son of God, conceived of the Holy Spirit, of virgin birth, sinless in life, making atonement for the sins of the world by His death. We believe in His bodily resurrection, His ascension, His pre-millenial and visible return to the world according to His promise. In the following Scriptures, He is called God in an absolute sense (Matthew 1:18; Matthew 2:11; Luke 1:35; John 1:1; John 1:18; John 20:28; Titus 2:13; Hebrews 1:8; Hebrews 5:9; 1 John 5:20).
4. We believe in the Holy Spirit, who comes forth from God to convict the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify, and comfort those who believe in Jesus Christ. We believe that the Holy Spirit takes up His residence in the believer at the same time of his acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior (John 3:5-8; John 7:37-39; John 14:16-18; John 16:7-15; Romans 8:9).
5. We believe that God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit are the sole agents responsible for the creation of the physical universe. We repudiate all forms of evolutionary, humanistic theories in regard to origins. We further do not condone any synthetic theories* that would attempt to harmonize the literal, historical account of creation as recorded in the Bible with evolutionary presuppositions (Genesis 1; Genesis 2l Nehemiah 9:6; Psalms 33:6-9; Isaiah 44:24; John 1:1-3; Colossians 1:12-17; Hebrews 11:3; Revelation 4:11).
*Example: Theistic Evolution, Progressive Creationism
6. We believe that all men by nature and by choice are sinners but that "God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life" (John 3:16-19, 36); John 5:24; Romans 3:23). Therefore, we believe, that those who accept Christ as Lord and Savior will rejoice forever in God's presence and those who refuse to accept Christ as Lord and Savior will be forever separated from God in Hell (Genesis 3:6-24; John 3:18; Romans 2:5-9; Romans 5:19; 1 Thessalonians 4:13; Revelation of 20:15; Revelation 21:2-5, 8; Revelation 22:3-5).
7. We believe in the Church, a living spiritual body of which Christ is the head and of which all who accept Christ as Savior and and Lord are members (Romans 10:9-10). We believe that a local church is a company of believers in Jesus Christ, immersed upon credible confession of faith and associated for worship, work, prayer, and fellowship. We believe that to such local churches were committed, for perpetual observance, the ordinances of Baptism and the Lord's Supper, and that God has laid upon these Churches the task of proclaiming to a lost world the acceptance of Jesus Christ as Savior and the enthroning of Him as Lord, and that the only Scriptural offices are Bishop (or epistles to Timothy and Titus (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 2:41-42, 47; Romans 10:9; Romans 12:1-2; 1 Corinthians 1:1-13; 1 Corinthians 11:2; 1 Corinthians 12:12-14; 2 Corinthians 5:18-20; Colossians 1:18, 24; Philippians 1:1)).
8. We believe that every human being is responsible to God alone in all matters of faith; that each Church is independent and autonomous and must be free from interference by any ecclesiastical or political authority; that therefore the Church and State must be kept separate as having different functions, each fulfilling its duties free from the dictation or patronage of the other (Matthew 22:15-21; Mark 12:17; John 3:2-7; John 7:7; Acts 16:30-31; Romans 13:1).
