ARTICLE VII: MEETINGS
SECTION 1: SERVICES
Every Lord's Day there will be at least one worship service. The Lord's Supper shall be observed at least bimonthly. At least one night each week the Congregation shall meet for prayer, praise and Bible study.
SECTION 2: MINISTRIES
This Constitution also provides for the creation of other ministries that may require additional meetings, Children's and Teen Groups, Men's and Women's fellowships, Musical groups, Outreach groups, and any other committees and ministries deemed profitable for the vision and work of the Church.
Any and all of these ministries shall be responsible to the Elders in the matter of faith, conduct, and policy. At the Annual Meeting these organizations shall report, verbally and in writing, the results of their ministry for the previous year.
SECTION 3: BUSINESS
Regular business meetings will be held in June and November being held on the second Wednesday of the month, if possible. At these meetings, all committees, boards and ministries will be asked to report.
The November meeting will be the Annual Meeting, when the officers and budget of the Church for the coming year are to be approved by the membership. The Church will operate on a calendar-year basis.
Special Business Meetings may be called, but must be announced two (2) consecutive Sundays prior to meeting. These may be called by the Elders or the Recording Secretary upon receiving a written- request by at least 15 members in good standing. (See Article IX - Definitions)
The Elders may call an emergency business meeting without the above requirement to make financial decisions as a result of critical events affecting the Church facilities. All business meetings will be governed by Robert's Rules of Order.
The Quorum for a business meeting to convene will be 30% of the number of members in good standing. In order to vote at these meetings one must be a member in good standing.
