Ladies Bible Study

Women everywhere marvel at those “good girls” in Scripture–Sarah, Mary, Esther–but on most days, that’s not who they see when they look in the mirror. Most women (if they’re honest) see the selfishness of Sapphira or the deception of Delilah. They catch of glimpse of Jezebel’s take-charge pride or Eve’s disastrous disobedience. Like Bathsheba, Herodias, and the rest, today’s modern woman is surrounded by temptations, exhausted by the demands of daily living, and burdened by her own desires.

Young Adults Study

The Young Adults Study is designed with 20 and 30-somethings in mind. We don't meet every week, but as our busy schedules allow! We invite you to join us for great discussion and fellowship as we study the Word together!

Grandpa Dave has been around the world and seen it all and he loves to share his love of Jesus with the kids on Sunday Mornings! Grandpa Dave has a great way of communicating key concepts of Christian Life in a way that is easy for children to understand!

Pickleball Fellowship

Hey, what's the big dill?! Calvary's Pickleball Fellowship is a great opportunity to spend time with each other and get some great exercise in! Join us for a fun time for players of all ages! We play at Washington Park through the summer months and when it gets cold, we head indoors to the Fellowship Center at the Church! Contact Bill to find out when we are meeting up next!

Vacation Bible School

From cruising the river on "The Great Jungle Journey" to the adventure in the castle of the "Kingdom Chronicles," to "Rocky Railway," "IncrediWorld Amazement Park," and more, Calvary Baptist Church produces a VBS for the kids of the church and the community, typically the first week of August every year! A core group begins meeting as early as March to make sure VBS week goes off without a hitch and helps bring kids to Christ!

Worship & Media Teams

The Worship Team is responsible for leading Sunday Morning Worship Services in song and music, while the Media Team works to produce the livestreaming video of the services, handles the audio/video in the sanctuary during the service, and maintains the website and social media.

The Worship Team meets regularly to plan ahead for upcoming services & events. The Media Team meets (informally) every Sunday after the morning service in the sound booth.

Annual Men's Retreat

In September, the Men of Calvary retreat to a camp destination for a weekend of study and fellowship! This year the guys went to Agape Camp in Hickory, PA. Iron sharpens iron!

Ladies Retreat Weekend

The annual ladies retreat weekend is a wonderful time of bonding over the Word with fellow women of all ages! This past year's retreat featured special guest speaker Jennifer Cadamore with the theme of "Standing Firm!"
