SECTION III: TEAM MINISTRIES - EVANGELISM/OUTREACH
Purpose:
This ministry team exists to make sure that the Great Commission command of Christ stays central in our church as the purpose for us being in this community. This team is to make sure that there are programs and events taking place both to reach out to the community in order to draw them to Christ and the church, and to motivate our members and attendees to take seriously their own personal responsibility to do the same.
Qualifications:
1) Have a personal testimony of faith in Christ.
2) Have an Evangelistic heart with a desire to see others saved.
3) Be a faithful team player, willing to work hard with others.
Responsibilities:
This team will work in conjunction with the Elders and other ministry teams of the church to develop people and programs including, but not limited to:
1) Special Evangelistic meetings.
2) Evangelism Training Classes.
3) Door to Door Evangelism Teams.
4) Special events for college and career, teens, seniors and other age groups.
5) Family-oriented Outreach Programs.
6) Servant Evangelism Activities.
7) Family Fun Fest.
8) Special Outreach Teams.
9) Any means possible to share the Gospel without offending the community or the Lord.
