SECTION III: TEAM MINISTRIES - WORSHIP MINISTRIES
Purpose:
This ministry team exists to raise up, train and organize those who will minister musically and in other ways during the worship service. They are to not merely provide special music, but to teach the people by example how to worship the Lord and to make our public worship services glorifying for the people.
Responsibilities:
This ministry team is to work under the authority of the Elders to recruit, guide, instruct, and oversee the following types of ministries and programs.
1) Worship and Song Leaders
2) Instrumental Accompanists (Piano, Organ, Orchestra, Praise Band, etc.)
3) Worship Teams to lead the congregational singing
4) Choirs (Adult, Youth, Children's, etc.)
5) Small Groups (Men's Chorus, Trios and Duets, Ladies; Chorus, etc.)
6) Music Seminars
7) Special concerts (Vocal and Instrumental)
8) Developing Thematic Worship Services
9) Other Music Ministries to Exalt the Lord, Edify Believers, Evangelize the Lost
It will also be the responsibility of this team to develop Biblical Standards for evaluating, choosing, and utilizing music and musicians in the ministry of the church. As with the other ministry teams, involvement of as many qualified and willing members and regular attendees as possible is desired.
