Missions Update: Gomez Family in Queretaro, Mexico

Current Prayer Requests (8/16/2026)

• The Gomez family has been back in Queretaro for about a month now and are getting settled in and reacquainted with their life there. They ask for prayer for the following:

  • Restored health for team member

  • No more sickness

  • The kids who will come to VBS to hear clearly of God's Word, the gospel message of Jesus Christ their Savior, and see visibly the love of God through our service and teaching

  • A fruitful week of work and service with our missions team

  • New mercies every morning for each of us as we labor, not for ourselves, but for God's honor and glory

    
    

Overview of Their Ministry

• Background: Kurt grew up in Mexico City and attended seminary in Mexico to become a pastor, while Bethany joined mission efforts after a long-standing calling to Mexico. They married in 2009.

• Location: They serve in Santiago de Querétaro, Mexico.

• Local Church Work: They work closely with the local church plant Iglesia Bíblica Cristo Salva, leading community outreach, youth programs, and vacation Bible school (VBS) events.
